Exhausted foreign lorry drivers are pleading with police to arrest them so they can get some food and sleep.
Fearing the sack from unscrupulous bosses if they stop voluntarily, they dial 999 as they drive along giving details of their registration and where they are.
When a traffic patrol pulls them over, they ask to be arrested – despite the fact it means a night in a cell and paying a fine.
